Athina Luxury Suites

The pool with swim-up bar was the main standout of this hotel. Probably the largest infinity pool on the caldera cliff. Cocktails were delicious as was the food at the restaurant. A-la-carte breakfast was included and brought to your own private balcony at no extra charge if you wish, including mimosas. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and comfortable including meeting you at the airport or at your taxi and carry your luggage to the hotel as it is a few minutes walk down winding steps. They also gave us a complimentary transfer to our next hotel nearby. The view is breathtaking. I'm pretty sure all the rooms have insane ocean views but we also got upgraded to a honeymoon suite with our own hot tub on the balcony around 30 degrees celcius and a second huge indoor hot tub kept at 35 degrees celcuis they say, but was more like 40 degrees, amazing to swtich between the hot and the cooler tubs back and forth. The room was stunning with high ceilings. I hope we will be back again soon!

The location was perfect alongside the beautiful views. We had a private suite with a heated pool which was very ideal as the weather wasn't too warm when we visited. The staff are friendly and professional! Communication was easy and they went above and beyond in obtaining items we needed. They were also very accommodating when it came to breakfast. We had a lot of late nights from watching sports matches and needed to sleep-in the next day. The staff were able to provide a complimentary brunch option instead which was highly appreciated and also made our stay extra enjoyable.

The room (Suite 1) is amazing! The online pictures are nice but could not reflect how truly amazing of a suite it is when you see it in person. From a statue of Athena in the living room to the private bedrooms appointed with linens from Guy Laroche, such a beautifully decorated suite. Even more amazing is the view from the private patios. The sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking! What made our visit even more wonderful is the exceptional service from all of the staff at Athina Luxury Suites!

The room and location was beautiful as was the entire staff. Looking out from your balcony at the water and volcano was breathtaking. Easily the best view on the island!! Breakfast every morning delivered to your balcony by the best waiters anywhere. i still don’t know how they did it with those stairs. Always delivered with a kind word and big smile. The front desk staff was awesome. The true test of a staff is when you have a problem and how it is resolved, it’s easy when everything goes perfect but when there is a problem that is the true test of customer service. The Athena Suites manager Beatrice came through with flying colors and handled it like a true professional. Everyone at the Athena Suites was happy, friendly,helpful and professional!! Thank you to all of you for all your guidance on our vacation.

Location- beginning of the trail and not too close to the stores. Once you enter the hotel the vibe removes you from the hectic Santorini streets. The chill music, the hotel’s layout and the hospitable staff set the tone. The room is clean and with amenities you might need and not realize. The breakfast in the private terrace allows you to enjoy the scenery in the morning and feel as if no one else is in the hotel.
